The Dinner For Equality Co-Hosted By Patricia Arquette And Marc Benioff

The Broadway community wants to get in on addressing the issues that have long threatened our freedom as Americans. With the mounting evidence of police brutality in the Black community, many celebrities and well-known figures have organized meetings and events in an effort to find solutions, justice, and change.

Most recently, the Broadway for Black Lives Matter Collective was formed and will host a special event “to present a night of unity and solidarity through artistic expression and conversation.” Guest appearances will include India.Arie, Audra McDonald, and more.

From Broadway Black:

An overwhelming number of friends and colleagues in the Broadway community have expressed a deep desire to participate in an open dialogue about the social and racial justice issues that are troubling our nation. The event will bring Broadway performers together with policy reformers, educators, clergymen, public officials, and community leaders to discuss a plan of action. The evening will spark conversation and encourage people to discover their roles as active participants in a movement towards positive change.
