Shocking reports about a North Carolina Sheriff, who plotted to kill a cop who had evidence of his racist remarks. Now i know you’re thinking “WTF”, yes this is true. Sheriff Brindell Wilkins was charged with two felony counts of obstruction of justice, charges for failure to arrest the unnamed person or to report the threats, also advising how to get away with the killing.
Bizarre right? Details are still developing, but as of now he’s still an active sheriff until the investigation is complete! Wilkins allegedly knew back in 2014 that the recordings exist and did nothing. Joshua Freeman had the tapes and planned to turn over to authorities in Raleigh.
