Late Thursday night around 11:15pm officers were called to a home on Rush Wind Drive, minutes from Intestate 77. According to law officials, the unknown man was shot and ran to get help, where he collapsed in the backyard of the home. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. This marks Charlottes 89th homicide, the most since 1995. Detectives are knocking door to door questioning folks.
