A police shooting took place early Friday morning uptown outside the Epicentre. Leaving 1 victim dead and another hospitalized.
Witnesses say two men began firing shots at each other around 2am at the corner of 5th St. & N. College St. According to CMPD, both men were told to drop their weapons but fired upon, causing them to fire back.

According to the SBI, two officers fired their service weapons at the subjects. Details are still emerging, will update as necessary.
