Sunday, Jan 26th the world lost an amazing father, friend, leader and visionary. Kobe Bryant and his daughter Giana ‘GIGI’ Bryant were among those killed in yesterday’s tragic helicopter crash. The news first broke via TMZ, and social media went into a frenzy. It was like a virus had spread to everyone’s phone at once. With all the tributes and ceremonies taking place in the honor of Kobe, it’s only right that the Charlotte Hornets retire his #8 Jersey. Mark Rubin of the Dallas Mavericks have already made the decision to do so.
