Charlotte area malls are gearing up to reopen next week. Southpark and Concord malls owned by Simon Properties are a few of the malls set to reopen with adjusted business hours. Accroding WBTV:
“….plans to reopen the locations on Friday, May 8. To allow for enhanced sanitizing and disinfecting, SouthPark, Concord Mills and the Charlotte Premium Outlets have modified business hours to 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.”
This comes after news that Gaston County officials were pushing to reopen the county for business ahead of the expiration of Gov. Cooper’s “stay at home” order. The openings of the malls align with Gov. Cooper’s order and will happen in a three step phase. Check out the full details HERE!!
We’ll keep you posted on the “reopening of Charlotte” as more details become available.
