2016 Pre-GRAMMY Gala And Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Irving Azoff - Backstage And Audience

Although Caitlyn Jenner has been making news since she’s made her transition, there appears to be one last portion she’s still conflicted about. People had an exclusive clip for this Sunday’s I Am Cait where Caitlyn discusses her problems with gender transition surgery.
“The last six months of my life have been really enlightening,” she says. “But one thing I’m really not comfortable with is this issue of gender confirmation surgery.”

While some feel the attention toward Caitlyn has overlooked other trans people, particularly trans people of color, it’ll be interesting to see if any of those attitudes shift after the episode airs. Regardless of how one might feel, Caitllyn still appears to be having struggles in her transition that other people, even if they’re not as privileged, might be able to relate to.

Quincy Jones, the comedian, not the musician, has officially gotten a premiere date for his HBO special. Quincy was diagnosed with stage 4 mesothelioma cancer in July and told he has one year to live. Nicole Blaine, a close friend of Quincy, started a Kickstarter campaign in hopes of raising money so that he’d able to star in his own stand-up special. Quincy later became a guest on Ellen’s show and that’s where the magic happened.
“The campaign which soon went viral and raised over $50,000, catching the attention of DeGeneres. The host then invited Jones to appear on her show, and a week later brought him back onto surprise him with the news that HBO had agreed to air the hour-long special.”

Mark Zuckerburg had a few choice words for Donald Trump. “The” Donald has been vocal about his plans to build a wall on the U.S. and Mexican border. “As I look around and as I travel around the world, I’m starting to see people and nations turning inward, against this idea of a connected world and a global community. I hear fearful voices calling for building walls and distancing people they label as others.”
