There has been speculation for years that Toya Wright and husband Memphitz were on the road to divorce.
From their infamous beef with K. Michelle to Toya giving him a “hall pass” to sleep with whoever he wants while they were still married, the pair hasn’t been in a good place for a while. After trying to work out their issues on the reality show Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, Toya and her estranged husband have decided to divorce.
The reality show star and author confirmed the news on a recent radio interview with V-103. She revealed to Big Tigger, “It’s going to be hard to watch and it’s going to be hard for me to relive this situation. This show was filmed a year ago. I don’t know why they waited so long to release the show, but it is what it is.”
She continued, “We were in a crazy place. When I signed up to do this show, I was in a vulnerable place. I did it with the hopes that we could make things work — at least take the counseling with Jim and Elizabeth. We’re not together. That’s no secret. We are getting a divorce.”
The news comes just months after the couple got social media in a frenzy from their appearance on Untying The Knot.
