Ever wondered how the media makes things look so perfect? That photo of your favorite model was retouched, but many teens today don’t understand that.
I AM not the MEdia is striving to promote self pride with its national campaign for all ages, and educate teens (ages 13-18) and young adults (ages 19-24) through programs and educational events that teach media literacy.
This time around the organization will be hosting their first annual program: “Pump Up the Volume on Media Literacy” at UNCC for teens 13 to 17.
