Rick Ross

When the new school links up with the old school, the musical results always turn out well.

Rick Ross knows this, so he teamed up with Nas for “One of Us.” The two rap heavyweights stuck to their own styles, making the track a treat for all.

God’s son took a more conscious approach to his lyrics by speaking on the current state of Black issues in America, with bars like, “We won’t self-indict ourselves, be our own prosecutor, won’t 25-to-life ourselves.” Renzel is delegated to typical boss duties, rapping, “You gettin’ money, got a b-tch, then you one of us.”

Yesterday, Ross unveiled the tracklist to Black Marketset to release December 4. Listen to “One of Us” below.
