It’s nice to see veteran artists taking newcomers under their wings.
Chicago legend Common has worked with the younger generation of Chicago emcees coming up, and Lil Bibby is the latest on his list. The two link up on Bibby’s new Jake One-produced record “Speak To Em.”
“Let me tell you how it feel, this the same life I dreamed about since we were kids/ and since I got a couple Ms, I ain’t gon’ preach to em, but let me speak to em,” raps Bibby.
“Speak To Em” is set to appear on the third installment of Bibby’s Free Crack mixtape series. Free Crack 3 is due out November 27.
