Drake And Future Perform At The Forum

This isn’t good.

Drake announced he’s postponing a few shows of his collaborative “Summer Sixteen” tour due to an ankle injury. Drake and Future have been touring around the world performing upwards of 50 shows in the past three months, but the good times seem to be catching up to the 29-year-old rapper.

Drake released a statement to The FADER revealing the decision to postpone shows in the rapper’s hometown of Toronto, and ironically, his archenemy’s hometown of Philadelphia.

“We are over 50 shows in and I have done everything to power through my recent ankle injury and leave it all out there on the stage every night,” Drake wrote. “I hate to be told I can’t do something, but under doctor’s orders to allow me time to recuperate.”

Despite the shocking news, Drake promised a healthy return: “I can’t wait to see you all again with new music and a stronger ankle.”

Last night, Drizzy managed to perform at Chicago’s United Center, but will officially sit out for the next few weeks.

Get well soon, Drake.
