The end of Bow Wow‘s 2016 isn’t going so well.
Shad Moss found himself in the middle of a lawsuit after he allegedly took clips of a young woman’s pole dancing and used the footage for one of his music videos. To top it off, the rapper has reportedly been hit with a $7,000 fine after he refused to hand over documents requested by Plaintiff Celine Tran.
TheJasmineBRAND reports, “On December 9th, a hearing was held in the case on Celine Tran’s motion to force the rapper/actor to hand over the documents she requested and for him to be sanctioned for not following the court rules.”
“The judge ordered that Bow will have to pay a total of $7,065 in sanctions to the plaintiff for his refusal to hand over all documents to her in the case. He will have to pay by January 9th,” the site continues.
If need be, the judge plans to take things a step further. “He warns the rapper that failure to pay the sanctions on time will result in drastic sanctions, including, without limitation, the judge ordering Bow in default and allow the plaintiff to move for a default judgement against him once again,” TheJasmineBRAND explains, adding, “Further, the order states Bow’s lawyer will have to pay a sanctions to the Attorney Admission Fund for failure to comply with the court order.”
Definitely not the best way to bring the new year in. Thoughts?
