Robert Godwin Sr. was a 74-year-old father of 10, and grandfather of 14. He was a self-taught mechanic, and a generous, God-fearing man. He had touched the hearts of many throughout his life, and he was randomly targeted and fatally shot by a man who filmed it and uploaded it to Facebook. Rickey Smiley says a few words about the beloved Robert Godwin and his impactful life. Rickey explains that he is “filled with rage” over the incident, while the family has said that they forgive the shooter.
