Jamie Foxx was born in Terrell, Texas and with Hurricane Harvey devastating Houston he wants to do something about it.

According to The Daily News he will host a telethon next month to raise money for all of the victims.
Foxx in a Instagram video said, “Just wanted to let everyone in Texas know, we got you. From a fellow Texan, my heart goes out, my prayers go out. September 12, we have a telethon that we’re doing. We’ll give you more details, so we can raise as much money as we can for everybody down there.”
He has already donated $25,000 to GlobalGiving, but feels that isn’t enough.
The show will be hosted in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville.
So far celebrities Reese Witherspoon, Blake Shelton, Michael Strahan and more will help Foxx.
