Friends don’t let friends avoid a good prank opportunity.
While promoting his new album 90059 on L.A.’s Power 106 radio station, TDE rapper Jay Rock received a call from a nice “female fan.” As the call progressed, the adoring female fan began hitting on Jay Rock by stating she liked her men “tall, dark, and handsome.” She also asked Jay Rock for his number and mentioned Tinder, but the Watts native politely declined her advances.
As soon as his uncomfortable laughter stopped, the voice of the caller quickly shifted and friend and prolific emcee Kendrick Lamar revealed himself as the “female fan.” Everyone cracked up, and Kendrick publicly thanked Jay Rock for “paving the way.”
