Vincene Morris

Vincene “Vinnie” Morris has been a servant leader and advocate for community safety for more than three decades. For nearly 30years, Vinnie protected the community as a Philadelphia Police Officer, retiring as a Sergeant. Throughout her career in law enforcement, Vinnie served as a Certified Field Training Officer, teaching and supervising police personnel on community policing and conflict resolution techniques to better serve the public. Vinnie ended her policing career as a supervisor over the 23 Police Athletic League (PAL) centers, located throughout the City of Philadelphia. She also volunteers weekly with the growing non-profit youth organization, “Center 360” based in West Charlotte. Coach Vinnie uses her three-time All American background to teach basketball skills to middle school students, and prvide assistance in other areas of the program as needed. In her caching role, Vinnie created the 360-Olympics program and earned the title, “Sandwich Lady” by bringing food for participants each week.
