Kevan Glover

Founder, The Konnected Foundation

Kevan Glover grew up in Buffalo, New York as the eldest of four children. He proved early on to be a leader and motivator amongst his family, his peers, and on the basketball court. On a road trip in 2001 with friends to Charlotte, he fell in love with the city: for its growth potential blossoming social scene…moved there immediately.

Once settled he began to focus on creating various enterprises: from showcase, tours, award shows and more. Although he noticed people enjoyed his events, he still felt something was missing; so he turned his attention to charity events.

Mr. Glover established The Konnected Foundation Inc., to formalize fundraising and distribution of scholarships as a resource to the development of youth arts and to forge Konnectivity within our community. His keen ability to fundraise, mobilize the community, and organize successful events makes him unstoppable in his mission to affect positive change in the Carolinas.

In a four year spam the foundation was able to give away over 100 scholarships to various kids. This past December Mr. Glover gave 25 scholarships away on WCCB at the Queen City Awards for them to take workshop with world renown Alvin Ailey. His vision has grown into 15 states and the African country of Uganda. We guess it is true that he should be compared to the moguls that have come before him.
