Craig Mack was one of the first artists signed to Bad Boy Entertainment.

He signed with P. Diddy’s label in the late 1980s, and released his first single under the name MC EZ, but he didn’t blow up on the scene until his ’94 single, “Flava In Ya Ear,” which reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.

The remix of his single featured a who’s who of the rap world including LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Mary J. Blige and others – and also became the breakout vehicle for one of the biggest rappers of all time, Notorious B.I.G.
